A respected hip hop producer and gifted MC active in the culture for nearly a decade, Hodges blends soul, funk, rock and gospel in a fashion that combines the best of their individual elements, as his insightful rap narratives compel the listener not only …to live life, but to craft it as thoughtfully and carefully as he does his music. A leader by example of love, he is known in his city both for his dedication to hip hop and his devotion to hope. A background in youth counselling, teaching and community organization, helped him develop a curriculum for Music is Elementary, a rhythm-rooted leadership workshop Hodges conducts in several primary and secondary schools on the virtue of his reputation as both an educator and entertainer. He also organizes an annual benefit concert called Awakening, that seeks to reach the hearts of people and serves as his community outreach. Last year his event raised $5000 for Haiti.
